Jennifer Garcia, GDC No. 85837, BDS Lond 2005

I qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ London in 2005. I completed my training with the Community Dental Service in West Sussex before moving to the Community Dental Service in Hinchingbrooke Hospital. During my 10 years there I treated a wide range of medically compromised patients, many with disabilities and additional or special needs. I built some wonderful relationships with these initially extremely anxious patients, taking time to earn their trust using calming techniques, but with sedation or general anaesthetic only when strictly needed. After completing my PGCE, Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Education, I became a trainer for newly qualified dentists.

In 2016 I left the Community Dental Service to broaden my dental skills and joined a primarily private dental practice. In 2017 I completed the year long Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry course (with the renowned Chris Orr) and Invisalign training to become an accredited Invisalign provider. I really enjoy not only changing smiles, but changing smiles for patients who prior to meeting me were too scared to even sit in a dental chair, let alone have any treatment. I love listening to peoples’ stories, finding out how we can make their dentist experience more positive so that patients can leave the surgery smiling!

Outside of dentistry I enjoy being active with my two boys. I love being by the sea, taking long walks, cycle rides and camping. As a family, protecting the environment and the oceans is something we all feel strongly about and so I use that passion to implement as many sustainable systems as we can at Godmanchester Dental.

Jacquelyn Hill, GDC No. 211798, BDS University of Sheffield 2011

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011. I then completed two years of Foundation Training in general practice and as a Senior House Officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at Addenbrookes Hospital. I achieved my Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties in 2013 and then studied a one year course in Dental Implantology in Cambridge.

I have been working in private practice since 2013, where I have been able to develop my clinical skills, build relationships with my patients and regularly undertake courses to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry.

I have a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, but my particular passion is in preventative dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry and restorative treatment. I always strive to provide the highest quality of care for my patients.

I have a very open and welcoming approach to my patients. I have a calm manner which helps to maintain a relaxed atmosphere in our practice. I believe it is important to spend time listening to and understanding the concerns of my patients. I take great pride in being able to achieve a comfortable environment for anxious patients.

When I’m not at work I love to keep active working with my hands and I always have an arts and crafts project or two on the go. I get great satisfaction from learning new skills and seeing the final result of what I have done or made myself. This could be making clothes, cards, artwork or building something for my daughters to play with.

Hannah Shaw, GDC No. 213176, BSc Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy University of Birmingham 2011

I think it’s safe to say dentistry is in my blood with both my parents working within the industry, so I’ve always had an interest in the subject. I qualified from the University of Birmingham in July 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

I have 14 years experience working in both NHS mixed and private practices. Although I am qualified as a therapist, I enjoy treating Periodontal Disease the most and find great satisfaction improving my patients’ oral health and the prognosis of their teeth. I strive to make my patients’ experience at the Hygienist a good one.
I have always been a sports enthusiast. Prior to University, I used to play golf and swim competitively. My current sporting hobby is competing in dog agility. As you can probably tell, I’m a big animal lover and enjoy long hikes and climbing mountains with my dogs. I also have 6 rescue rabbits which I adore.

Mahmoud Reza Mohseyni, GDC No. 268270 Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy University of Leeds 2016

Dentistry has been my passion from a young age. I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2016 and have been practising as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, working with adults and children, for over 10 years. It has been incredibly rewarding to care for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

I am committed to a patient-centred approach that places you at the heart of every visit, ensuring you feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for. I particularly enjoy creating a calming experience for anxious children and adults who want to improve their oral health and regain confidence in their smiles.

I take pride in delivering meticulous clinical care while working collaboratively with patients to achieve their oral health goals. My approach is holistic and person-centred, viewing oral health as an essential part of overall wellbeing. By taking the time to understand each patient’s lifestyle and personal goals, I create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you can develop the skills and confidence needed for long-term improvements; not just for a healthy smile, but for a healthier you.

Outside the practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors, with regular hiking trips across the UK with friends, as well as gardening and learning about the diverse flora and fauna around us. I also have a real passion for food and love exploring new culinary experiences from around the world.

I am proud to be part of a practice that blends expert care with a genuine family atmosphere, and I look forward to helping you feel confident, informed, and cared for at every visit.
