“We had a fantastic experience at Godmanchester Dental. My son aged 9 had an accident at after school club at 5pm and had chipped both his front adult teeth pretty badly. I was mortified. I was able to get an appointment straight away the next day. Jacquie was so reassuring and put us at ease. She took the time to give us all the options and gave him the best possible care. She used his own chipped tooth to reconstruct them to give the best natural look and not just a quick fix. He was so upset when it happened and she gave him his beautiful smile back. He hasnt stopped smiling since. He was so worried about going back to school and being picked on. The next day I asked him how he got on at school and he said that nobody even noticed and they feel and look like they did before. Such as amazing team and personalised care in our time of need. Couldn’t recommend enough.”
“I have now been a patient at this surgery for a year, in this time i have had many treatments due to other practices poor assessments.
My first visit revealed I needed a lot of dental work, very daunting, but everything was set out in a dental plan that clearly explained what was required and the options I had.
One year later and I am delighted by the results and ease of getting through the treatments required.
From the moment you enter the reception you feel at ease, both receptionists are friendly and helpful and really do care. They have rearranged appointments whenever they can to make it easier for my busy work life.
As for my dental work which over the year has included several crowns, root canal and fillings, Jenny has always explained exactly what was being done, the work has been of high quality and pain free! Even on one of my ‘bad days’ Jenny made me feel at ease and truly respectful, she certainly took the time to listen to my concerns, after that visit I really knew this practice was above and beyond any in this area.
Last but not least, Hannah my hygienist is also A-Class in her work, I almost like seeing the hygienist now, something I dreaded before, again another asset to the surgery!

“I have always been terrified of going to the dentist since having had various bad experiences growing up but was in desperate need of a fair amount of work on my teeth. I very nervously rang Godmanchester dental after having researched dentists for nervous patients. From the very first telephone call I was treated so very kindly and given real encouragement to overcome my fear and make an appointment. I was massively nervous when I went for my first appointment, even cried, however Jenny and Krystal were so kind and considerate of how I was feeling that I began to relax and so was able to have my check up and a discussion of where to go from there. “I arrived at Godmanchester Dental very low and extremely anxious about my teeth and gums. After a depressing appointment with my usual dentist I felt hopeless and completely lacking in confidence.
My initial appointment here helped to build up my confidence, and it was great to be able to talk and be given clear explanations about how I might be helped. After much discussion I began to feel gradually more hopeful and comfortable. I’ve now been supported through several different procedures, and can see a way to proceed knowing I will be helped at each stage.
The whole team gives you a feeling of confidence, from just smiling and greeting you in reception, to the dental assistant who was professional and had kind words of encouragement. I can’t speak too highly of the hygienist and dentist. I’ve never felt rushed or unable to ask even the silliest of questions, that may sound simple but it has made a tremendous difference to my visits.
Dental appointments are never going to be something to enjoy and relish for me, but at least now I feel confident that I am being looked after and offered the treatment that is best for me.
I don’t feel able to compare my treatment to how it was before. I understand NHS dentists are under a different pressure, but I really wish it wasn’t so. I feel very lucky and privileged to be able to attend Godmanchester Dental and would recommend it to anyone able to join.”
We are always incredibly impressed with the Practice. All the staff are very welcoming, and helpful. The Practice is very clean/light airy. They are always very accommodating when trying to find an appointment.
In terms of dental treatment: we have always been, and continue to be very very impressed with Jenny. Her professional nature is outstanding and we have absolute trust in her re the treatments she suggests. She very clearly sets out why any treatment is needed, the costs, but will always give the alternative view to help us make an informed decision. Jenny always puts us at ease and the children too, which we feel is very important. She is also very personable and remembers our case history as well as other things happening in our lives so therefore providing a very personal service.
Appointments always run pretty much to time too. Whenever we talk about dentists to friends etc., if they are looking for a dentist, we always recommend Godmanchester.”
“I contacted the surgery regarding a very bad toothache. I wasn’t registered at the time, but they gave me excellent advice. I since then have become registered. I hadn’t been to the dentist for a very long time (decades!) due to a bad experience. I have now had two extractions and two fillings. Hygienist and crown soon. Had a 2hr slot for some work, which I was more than pleased with. Previous dental work looks like amateurs let loose compared to this practise. Yes it's more expensive than nhs, but if you have to change then consider top quality service here.
